Out District Supports several projects:

Louisiana Lions Eye Foundation  –  With this project , we help fund research on curing some of the world’s worst eye diseases including glaucoma, astigmatisms, diabetes, and more!  Our Eye Foundation is Headquartered in the LSU Medical School Campus and has Eye Banks throughout the state of Louisiana.

Cubsight –  This program is aimed at the young ones.  Lions from around the state assist in performing screenings on young school aged children to help them get proper eye care before eye ailments get out of hand.

Lions Children’s Camp –  Our clubs sponsor the camp and children to attend our camping sessions for children with physical and mental disabilities.  Additionally We have special camps for children with Diabetes and pulmonary ailments.  Our camp facility is located in Leesville, LA

Leader Dog –  Clubs in our district proudly sponsor the Leader Dog School in Michigan,  which trains and helps provides leader dogs to people with sight and hearing impairments.

8-S Charities – Our 8-S Charities organization is put together so that multiple Lions Clubs can help with other local service projects which may cost more than one Lions club alone can afford to support.
