Thank you to all Lions in attendance and special thanks to Raceland Lions for hosting the meeting as well as your hard work preparing and serving our delicious meal..
One piece of business that was not handled at the meeting:
We collected $74 from the Tail Twisters, but we did not vote for a cause for these funds to be directed to. The money was still being collected and delivered to then verified by Cabinet Treasurer Kirby when the meeting adjourned. I spoke briefly with a few Lions after the meeting and a motion was made by IPCC Cherie to donate the money to the 8S Camp Bus fund. The motion was 2nd’ed by PDG Bob Ebberman. So, We have an open motion and a 2nd. I will assume all non-responses to be in favor of this motion. IF you have any objections to this motion, please make them known. I will reply to this email letting everyone know if the motion passes.
Lastly, at the end of the meeting, we handed out Delegate cards to those clubs in attendance. If your club received the BLUE Delegate card with #86 on it (bottom right corner), please consider this card VOID, as it was meant to go to T-Caillou Lions and may have been issued to the wrong club in error. T-Caillou, we will get you a replacement Delegate card. We apologize for any confusion that this may have caused.
